I had to take a portrait of the men's basketball coach at Mizzou last week and needed a few players in the shot as well. I wanted to try something new and challenging for me so I decided to take it in the stands and use more than 2 strobes. The idea was to have the coach up front with the players behind and utilize the stands to have them on different levels. There was only one major screwup and it was when I realized I was all set to use 5 strobes but left a pocket wizard at home. I had to go without the rim light on the coach. It's running today if you want to see it in print.
